Small vessels cannot be used in rivers flowing into Baikal, as well as at distances less than 1.5 kilometers to the right, left and deep into Baikal from the mouths of these rivers, in rivers flowing into the Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk reservoirs, in the Angara, Lena, Biryusa, Chuna (Ude), Katanga and their tributaries - from April 25 to June 20.

It is prohibited during the year to fish in the Angara River below the dams of the Irkutsk, Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk hydroelectric power stations for three kilometers along the entire width of the river; at fish breeding organizations, their workshops and points, cages for growing and keeping fish - at a distance of less than half a kilometer; in the Bolshaya Yangoza and Agul rivers. On Lake Baikal it is allowed to fish only with drill fishing from the ice and strictly in designated places.
