In both cases, sea worms from the Azov estuaries, parts of various fish (sea bass, sand lance, garfish itself, even red fish, etc.) and chicken fillets are used as bait in both cases. No particular dependence of the bite on the time of day was noticed. This predator hunts in the upper layers of water (which is very transparent at this time) and is therefore very shy and careful, which is why a thin line on a leash and an almost floating bait are used.
