Few experienced fishermen have not heard of trophy specimens of many species of fish caught in the region. But not everyone manages to catch a decent option; the reason for this may be an incorrectly selected fishing location or fragile gear.
Hunting and fishing in the region have always attracted many visitors here, and some began to build a business on this. Fishing in the Tyumen region is paid and free; when going to the selected body of water, you should initially find out detailed information.
Free fishing spots
On the map of the Tyumen region you can find many reservoirs of various types, but not in each of them you can enjoy fishing. Some reservoirs are used for artificial cultivation of fish, and a certain fee will be required for catching them.
But there are many free reservoirs that are a real pleasure to fish. Not every local resident can tell you where to go fishing in Tyumen for free and effectively; all that remains is to watch the local fishermen and study the fishing spots on your own. The lakes of Tyumen attract special attention.
Free fishing spots in the Tyumen region
Every time you drive along the E22 highway towards Yekaterinburg, you can see hundreds of fishermen going fishing or returning home with their catch. On both sides of this route there are simply the best places for fishing in the Tyumen region.
Swan Lake is one of the few bodies of water where you can enjoy great fishing for grass carp. Just before going to the pond, you need to take into account that the fish is strong enough and choose the appropriate gear. Crucian carp is also very often found here.
Lakes Andreevskoye and Cherkul attract fishing enthusiasts for rotan, crucian carp, perch and pike. Pike predominate in these reservoirs, so it’s worth equipping your spinning rod with a metal cable to avoid unpleasant surprises in the form of broken gear.
Tura River
The Tura River, which flows through almost the entire region, is known among fishermen for perch, bream, chebak, bream, pike, and ide is rarely found there. But this is not a complete list of the river’s aquatic inhabitants; Siberian rivers very often delight fishermen with pleasant surprises.
In the city of Tyumen itself, on Profsoyuznaya Street there is an excellent place for fishing from the shore (it is marked on the map). In the oxbow of the river, not far from the village of Shcherbak, fishermen are actively fishing for bream and roach using feeder gear. At the mouth of the Tura and Pyshma rivers, near the village of Sazonovo, you can see fishermen who came to catch perch.

Yantyk
Almost everyone knows Lake Yantyk Tyumen, especially fishermen who prefer fishing for peaceful fish. Everyone will be able to boast of an excellent catch of carp and crucian carp; tench will bite well here too. Lake Kuchak has the same location and ichthyofauna; Tyumen is not far from it.
Tura River

Such a large assortment of fish is explained by the presence of a whole cascade of ponds in the form of rectangular checks, which are filled with artesian mineral water and do not freeze even in Siberian frosts.
Fishing on Kostylevsky ponds is carried out only in the summer. Entrepreneurs try not to leave fish behind for the winter for fear of their death in the harsh conditions of Siberia. In addition to the above, paid fishing services are now offered by reservoirs near the village of Borovsky, the village of Shorokhovo, the Tarskul sanatorium, Chervishevsky ponds, located to the left of the bridge over the river. Pyshma along the tract of the same name. In these ponds you can catch tench, trout, carp, and catfish.
Quite recently, another paid pond appeared in the Yalutorovsky district near the settlement of Petelino. It is small, only 100x500 m, but it has been cleared of the small things that previously lived in it and stocked with carp and silver carp. It contains grass carp and pike. Stocking was done immediately with half-kilogram fish, so now in the reservoir you can catch large fish worthy of showing off to your friends.
The reservoir is very clean, so the catch does not have the specific smell that occurs in such ponds. A standard permit allowing fishing on the pond costs 200 rubles. You must pay extra for the fish you catch: for carp 150 rubles/kg, for carp – 350 rubles/kg.
Near the pond there is a hotel with fairly decent rooms, a dining room and a tennis table. Therefore, those who want to relax here can do so with a certain comfort. A room there, almost an entire floor, costs 5 thousand rubles per day.
In addition to the hotel, the base has separate houses that can accommodate 3 people. Their daily rent is 1 thousand rubles. Among the paid stocked reservoirs are the ponds of the Tyumen fish hatchery, where local fishermen most often go fishing. It is fifty kilometers from Tyumen (near the village of Kostylevo). The legend of the route is as follows: Chevishevsky tract, in the village of Chervishevo turn right to Michurino; after Michurino direction to Kostylevo; The village is driven straight through, then along the gravel road into the forest, to the ponds.
In the ponds of the fish hatchery you can catch crucian carp, trout, perch, African catfish, grass carp, carp, and pike. Price for visiting the fish hatchery: 200 rubles. per fisherman and 50 rubles. from each person accompanying him for 3 hours. The bite on reservoirs is guaranteed at any time.
The Shorokhovsky carp pond (Shorokhovo village, Isetsky district) is considered an excellent place for Tyumen fishermen. Fishing is free, they will only charge you for parking your car. There is no infrastructure around - only grass, water and mosquitoes. But catching a couple of carp for 6 kg is quite possible. There are also pikes and perches, and sometimes crucian carp.
Lake Krivoye
There is a camp site on the shore of the reservoir; amateur fishermen from all over the country come here. Fans of active spinning will be able to fish here, and fishing with a feeder will also be successful. You can catch pike, perch, and crucian carp.
