How to choose a Daiwa spinning reel

Daiwa Fuego LT is one of the reels from the Japanese manufacturer Daiwa, presented in the “light and durable” line. It is distinguished by its build quality and the use of aluminum for the manufacture of main components. The handle has a hollow design, made of aluminum, which also reduces weight, but does not affect strength and durability.

The handle has a twist-on design and easily attaches to the rotating mechanism of the clutch. The locking system is made using a metal drum, without fragile plastic parts. This solution was previously used on expensive models, but is now being installed on budget reels.

The Digigear drive mechanism is used, it transmits high torque from the rotation of the handle, without the formation of excess friction and other side effects. With one turn of the handle, up to 70 cm of fishing line or cord is wound.
